The LTC4078XEDD#TRPBF is a standalone linear charger suitable for charging single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer batteries from both wall adapter and USB inputs. With its ability to detect power inputs and select the appropriate power source for charging, it offers a convenient and efficient charging solution. The internal MOSFET architecture eliminates the need for external sense resistors or blocking diodes during charging. This charger can handle up to 22V from wall adapter and USB inputs, ensuring safe and reliable charging for your batteries. Additionally, the internal thermal feedback regulates battery charge current to maintain a constant die temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The charger features a fixed 4.2V float voltage and allows for charge current programming with an external resistor. It also includes battery present detection, automatic recharge, undervoltage lockout, charge status outputs, and "power present" status outputs. With its low profile 3mm×3mm 10-lead DFN package, the LTC4078XEDD#TRPBF is a versatile and compact charging solution for a wide range of applications
