The L6470H product is an advanced solution for driving bipolar stepper motors with microstepping. Its integrated dual low RDS(on)DMOS full bridge with accurate on-chip current sensing circuitry allows for precise non-dissipative current control and overcurrent protection. The device achieves a true 1/128 steps resolution through a unique control system, making it ideal for high-precision applications. With a digital control core, users can easily program motion profiles with acceleration, deceleration, speed, and target position using dedicated registers. The communication interface is a standard 5-Mbit/s SPI, simplifying integration into existing systems. Furthermore, the L6470H offers a wide range of protections including thermal, low bus voltage, overcurrent, and motor stall, ensuring the safety and reliability of motor control applications
